Prof. Dr. Seeram Ramakrishna, Editor-in-Chief of the Intelligent and Sustainable Manufacturing journal and foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering UK, and a fellow of the Academy of Engineering Singapore, was invited to the opening ceremony. He delivered a speech on behalf of overseas high-level experts and scholars, expressing gratitude for the conference's role in providing a platform for academic and cooperative exchanges in the field of intelligent manufacturing technology. He hopes to strengthen future collaboration with Shandong Province to jointly promote technological solutions and the development of innovation platforms.
Following the opening ceremony, the conference featured keynote speeches by Prof. Dr. Ramakrishna, Prof. Dr. Jianrong Qiu, and Prof. Dr. Kim. High-level foreign experts from Singapore, South Korea, Russia, and other countries presented on topics such as new-generation microfluidic chip technology, metasurface structures for new-generation chips, applications of new infrared chalcogenide glass materials, special processing and intelligent manufacturing systems, and laser cladding three-dimensional additive manufacturing technology.
During the conference, academicians, experts, and representatives from related enterprises engaged in discussions on intelligent manufacturing technology. With the theme Empowerment through Technological Innovation, Leading the Future with Intelligent Manufacturing, the conference focused on the deep integration of education, talent, industry, and innovation chains. It attracted over 200 experts, scholars, international students, doctoral candidates, and enterprise representatives from universities, research institutes, and enterprises both domestically and internationally.
