On the morning of June 29, Zeng Xianwen, director of Science and Technology of the Provincial Department of Education, accompanied by Su Shoubo, vice president of Shandong University of technology, Zhang Cunshan, director of science and Technology Department, and Zhu Guangming, deputy director, visited the center for Advanced Laser Manufacturing (CALM). Professor Zheng Hongyu, head of the CALM and Dean of the College of Mechanical Engineering, received him personally.

Professor Zheng explained the application prospect of laser processing, the current researchers of the laser center, research results and laboratory construction. Professor Wu also made a detailed report on the progress made in the surface technology of coating and the processing of composite materials.

Director Zeng fully affirmed the achievements of the center this year, especially for the major national projects this year. Director Zeng thinks that the application prospect of combining laser processing with health care has a broad application prospect, and the antifouling coating has great commercial value, which is very worthy of in-depth study.
